2007-2017 Lexus LS 460 Trunk Temp Close Fix
I have a workaround for the dreaded Lexus LS460 trunk latch issue. Unfortunately this problem seems to happen when taking these cars to cold climates and the plastic retainer in the trunk mechanism breaks. In order for this to work you are going to need 2 people so that someone can close the trunk while another person pulls the battery cable. This is a temporary emergency fix only and can result in damages to your trunk mechanism, please exercise caution when trying this and understand that I am not responsible!
